Colours are important and I use intense colours in my paintings and jewellery. I often use the same intense colours in my graphic work. The ultramarine dominates along with other blue colours.
My inspiration comes from the sea, the coast line and nature, and from travelling. I have spent summers on the West coast of Sweden since childhood and this you will see in my paintings with a lot of blue reflecting the sea and the sky. For some years now I have worked with paper, produced paper, shaped paper, printed on my own handmade paper. Fascinating! Fascinating is also to paint with pigments in tempera and water colour. I work as an artist, adviser and lecturer. I give lectures and workshops about art, culture and marketing and I organize international art fairs and exhibitions. |
